Explode
Explode is a new social search engine, and by social, we mean you can search for other people and find their various profiles and websites that are sprawled across the Internet.
You can search for others by name, or interest, and see their profiles and latest content, comments from others on Explode, and even their friends and similar users. This really expands on the concept put forth by sites like YoName, which act as only a search engine. Click on one of their other interests, and you’ll find a whole new round of people to meet. Explode is also a social network in and of itself. You can create an Explode account (made easier if you have OpenID, AIM or Wordpress, among others), and have a hub for your own social networks, befriend others, and see who’s following you (like Twitter, you can follow or be followed).
