FYI, the Unified Communications and SharePoint Link Love will continue to exist on this blog. Although I have to copy and paste all the posts I decided the content is too valuable. In the next couple of weeks all posts not related to this topic will be deleted. Only the top visited posts and Link Love will return on this blog. In the meantime the Link Love story continues because several posts are injected there’s no risk for you to get infected my reading my blog.

For the dutch readers, I recently started with my colleague Leon van Bokhorst a new blog called SOCIALSOFTIES. Leon was one of the first podcasters here in Holland (no, not Adam Curry, he’s a copycat.Â He has an entry WikiPedia(Fluox speelt Fluox). After podcasting died (or, almost died) he decided it was time for someting new. Leon and I met each other a couple of months ago and soon we found out we both share interest in Social Software and Social Media. So we started SOCIALSOFTIES. We are slowly starting up right now. Expect some new experiences, experiments and podcasts (yeah, podcasts) in the next couple of months but for now we are focussed on blogging.

Bad news, blog infected by malware

Thanks to Leon van Bokhorst I found out my blog is infected with malware. It’s not too bad but several posts have div tags included with spam. I ugraded to WordPress 2.5 and decided to use the default theme for now without plugins.

The impact? I need to figure out of the content in the database is infected. I think it is. In that case I will move the content to another blog. Otherwise I’ll continue on this blog.Â

Just to make things clear for you, there’s noÂ riskÂ of being also infected by reading this blog. It’s has been purely an injection by means of javascript or db hacking. Â

One thing is sure, the SharePoint 2007 Link Love will continue.

Our CTO/CKO @ ADA ICT Bas Kroes recently started blogging (more people like him shoud do that!). He’s experimenting with InfoPath eventually in combination with SharePoint. Although the posts are in Dutch I think it’s a welcome contribution for the people who want to know more about InfoPath. He’s experimenting on his own and has an amazing background in Developement. His motto? Practice what you preach. In case you want your employees to work with it you have to show them how it works. In case you want to discuss things with customers you’ll have to show them how it works. Share your experiences with them. I like that style very much. It’s a way to get better discussions. To improve the internal processes and to dogfood the stuff we want to sell to our customers. I’m sure he’s willing to share this InfoPath form with the world. In fact the case he’s working on is about ordering a company car. Before you can order it you’ll have let the the company who arranges the lease of the car which brand and type you want including which options, etc…

Bottomline? It’s quite easy without much knowledge to create such a form in InfoPath. With some common sense the job to get it done is relatively easy.
